Cant wait for AMD Phoenix Range APUs in thin and light laptops
Hope we get the 15w test mentioned in this video. This integrated GPU has had great performance at slightly higher wattage levels but I don't think anyone's tested it's 15w performance, which is what most of the gaming handhelds will run it at.
I love the keyboards from ThinkPads and their Idea behind it but its made of plastic and I just hate the feel of it. I still love and would take the ThinkBook 13s G4 13ARB4 over this.
win11 desktop trying to copy KDE plasma, AGAIN? LOL
what a confident design choice from lil murrican indie company
Thanks!
+1 for testing with SteamOS
AMD is killing it with 6000 series mobile CPUs because they are putting the focus on the right places (GPU and power efficiency). Intel's 12th gen CPUs have better single core CPU, but who cares if I get terrible battery life and a fan running like a jet engine. AMD 6600U seems more than fast enough for my needs. And by the way ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 itself looks great as well. I am also eyeing ThinkBook 13S Gen 4 with AMD.
Drink every time he says "6"
Do they still castrate the Ryzen IGPU by only allowing it to access 2GB of system RAM? It doesn't look like it ever tries to use more than right at 1GB...
no more built-in NIC Card ?
My major problem with the AMD 6000 series is I can't seem to buy it anywhere at all. It seems they are all bundled with a gfx card and cost well over £1000 (this near enough equivalent to US $ at time of writing). Frustrating as I need a new laptop and have money waiting and they just aren't available :(
More fortnite 🤔
iGpus have come a long way.
I would Love to see how it does with SteamOS 3.0 or ChrimeOS or Linux install on it...
I have a 5600G desktop PC and very happy with it. I am not a hard core gamer and it works perfectly for what I use it for and the games I play. I am so happy for these kind of products and powerful integrated graphics without a discrete GPU.
Can you do a test for FM22 and F1 2022?
I have the same one, very great laptop. Looking forward for a battery test
If possible would be interested in 10w and 15w performance difference between the 6600u and the SteamDeck.
Would be interesting to see HOW much better/worse it would be at the same performance level(s).
How is the build quality?
