Missed your live, Bill, but watched the whole thing today. I am a night dweller when the world is 'quieter'.
Great tip Bill, thank you for sharing. Hope your wife and other family members are getting better )O(
Nice input on the size and format of the script. I found that the formatting on the voice websites can sometimes make the scripts difficult if you read directly from the listing, so I usually copy the text and paste it into a word processor. I can also mark up the script where I think the emphasis is needed.
Great! This width trick is actually one of the principles of UX design, where each line ideally has 50-60 characters. So it makes total sense that you find it easier to read, as that‘s what UX design is all about.
I would like to get into long-form narration. Would you be willing to show us how you would read a page like the one you used in your example today?
Bill is a hero. Great tip. Going to try it today. I hope your wife gets well soon!
Wishing your wife a full and speedy recovery :0) xx
Thank you so MUCH again for all you do Bill. Prayers for Vickie for a speedy recovery! 🙏🏻
Bill I really apreciate your tid bits.
Prayers to U and yours.love/ yours.love the content
I am enjoying your daily tips, keep them coming.
Another great update, Bill! At what length of script do you stop worrying about removing breaths? Audiobooks only?
I do a bunch of long-form stuff and I've never heard this recommendation! Thanks!
Hi Bill... found your channel a few months back and I'm glad I did ! I have a question about doing long form.. I was in radio for years and very accustomed to 30 and 60 second scripts.. but when I started doing industrial and chemical process vo's I haven't been able to decide if its better to read the whole.. possibly 50 page script through before trying to record it or maybe just a chapter or two. Most of my work is done for a production company for various chemical plants and is done with the producer present.. so I feel pressured time-wise when rehearsing so to speak... what do you feel works best ? Thanks for the very helpful videos !
Thanks Bill! That actually makes sense to me; I will try this.
Glad I jumped in today. Sounds like long form could be my bread and butter.
Always helpful, Sir Bill! Thanks much
OMG! Bill! I was looking at an Ameritrade video explaining margins. And within 5 seconds I recognized the voice instantly... IT WAS YOU!! I watch your content all the time, and I absolutely knew it was you right away. Nice to hear your work. 😉
Thanks Bill, still learning from you after 7 years! Prayers for your wife's full recovery and that you stay well my friend.
