This is part 2 of my interview with my daughter, Mallory Handford, on her experience with the platform Fiverr for voice over. She's been seriously killing it on there and I've been curious myself how she's been able to do so well on there working only part-time. I just watched this video and part 1 and I am way late to the game. Can we still pay to watch the class? Or is that a foolish thing to ask? If I can't do anything now with this class, do you have an advice as to where I can go to get similar information? Sorry if I am being annoying. I just really want to be as informed as I can be, and your videos seem to give the best information. I would love to understand more about Fiver from the beginning.
I doubt you are making all the money you claim, or you would not have time to boast about it and spend a lot of time producing self-promoting videos on YouTube. Sorry, I am not impressed or convinced of your expertise. Have a good day. MP
I felt like Fiverr would be a great way to gain experience and save money to upgrade equipment, pay for coaching and get a demo.
But some VO groups I am in say Fiverr is an insult to the profession of VO and that it is hard to "repair" your reputation after working on Fiverr ??????
I've been on my knees asking God to help me. I'm 60+ with a huge public speaking acting singing background but back when you had to pack a bunch of snacks and water and coffee and run around doing auditions in line.
Had a Demo cassette then got a demo CD in a studio and mass produced them and sent them out....now I have raised my children and I'm scared of my future still working and being treated differently I think because of my age. Anyway I only have 80$ at the end of month so I have do everything slow. Glad you're helping people ....
If I can make an extra 300 wow. And I pray it would replace my job. Thank you for your videos.
Blessings in Him.
Ela ...... (pamela)☺
I’m retired looking to do this part time thank you for your information
i love voiceovers and i think i be good at it
yeah...and they take 20%. not cool. plus any fees to get your money off the platform and into your bank account.
Would you recommend a voice over career for someone who has had an laryngectomy?
Very interesting! Can we still purchase a class? Was it recorded?
Is this class being offered again? I see that the sign-up and payment pages are still active. Were the classes recorded and available? Thanks for the information.
I can't even change my photo on my gig. It wouldn't accept my headshot from acting gigs, like this one you see on the left here, so I put a ghastly picture on...can't even figure out how to change it.
Hey Bill, thanks for all the content! I noticed the website link states the class was in June. Are Live sessions still happening and can I still sign up for the class? Thanks!
I wish I was on time to catch Mallory's class, but even just hearing this testimony has been very informative and encouraging.
Fiverr is an Israeli website, I'll never support them 💩 🇮🇱💩
I'm 35 years old. I've been an engineer for 10 years, but have gotten interested in starting VO work in the past couple years. I'm so eager to get started and can barely contain my excitement. I've literally started losing sleep as I've started gearing up and getting ready to make a real effort to begin. I have space set up and my first mic and interface will be here on Saturday.
Thank you for your videos. They're helping a lot. And I love Mallory's energy and insights. Now I'm even more excited to start!
I see a lot of folks pitching voiceover courses but none are as authentic as the DeWees family. Cheers!
What exactly is this course that Mallory offers. Is this just showing you how to set up your profile on Fiverr or does it give you advice on how to get work?
When you say product do you mean demo?
What does it cost to work directly with Doctor DeWees?
